About these frames:
This page is meant to be viewed in conjunction with the index of page designs, which uses a technique called frames. Frames allow the screen to be broken into windows usually for the purpose of linking information or pictures in one window to an index in another.
In general we believe frames are overused, and waste valuable screen "real estate", but in some instances like this, they can make it possible to give supplementary information (or pictures) on a list of items

Unfortunately the search engines can't read flash websites, so we were asked to add a website around the Flash, that was search engine friendly. We also consulted on google advertising.

Website devoted to selling Australian designed bugcatchers. This product uses no chemicals. It is safe in food areas; it does not blast bits of bug bodies all over the place, like the mosquito zapper. No high voltage grid and no poisons, safe for children and pets. Great for organic gardeners.

The problem here was to display a large catalogue of craft products so it could be easily browsed. The solution we devised can be applied to other product catalogues. This site features a catalog of over 900 graphics, all clickable to show progressively larger views. The database that drives the catalogue includes the ability to show related products. The site continues to grow as more of the product range is added.

The problem here was to display a large number of products from varying suppliers. Each supplier had their own website. So we incorporated the suppliers websites into the carpet craft site. This was a very economical way to create a big website, with the customer being able to browse the range without apparently leaving the Carpet craft site.

This site was designed with speed in mind. The Prices page is updated over the internet by the proprietor using our user-updated page option. Peter Kesby makes the spearguns in his workshop in Frederickson (near Kempsey) and gets a lot of his business via the internet. Highly specialised businesses can expand their markets using the web.

As with all our sites, speed was important. The site features rollover button menus, and an aerial photo that displays thumbnails as the mouse moves over relevant sections. All photos are clickable to enlarge. The site has secure credit card facilities for bookings, a user-updatable scrolling banner. The whole site was constructed in 4 days to meet an advertising deadline. The domain name seasideretreat.com.au was chosen because of likely spelling problems with "melaleuca"
