About the program Payroll is designed to make the repetitive task of making up pays quick and easy. It is ideal for the business or community group with a variety of employees on different pay rates and paid from different accounts. It can handle up to 999 employees each paid from up to 99 different bank accounts. It will not suffer from the year 2000 problem until the year 2010 (see file YEAR2000.TXT that comes with the trial)

Payroll keeps track of up to three pay deductions for any one employee with no limit for the entire workforce. It automatically updates holiday and sick leave as it is taken and warns you if leave is not available.

With Payroll you are not tied to expensive updates every time there is a change in the tax laws, because you enter the tax figures yourself. Unlike other payroll software, this one is easy to set up. You could be up and running after entering just your employees names and their hourly rates!

At any time you can call for reports on any pay period. You can get monthly reports on tax and deduction figures, compulsory super, and summary reports on wage expenditure.

Payroll keeps its data in dBase III+ format, which is the universal database format. This means you get maximum flexibilty for analysing the figures or creating your own reports. Use commonly available database programs such as MS Works, or create mailing labels from most word processors, or load the figures direct into Excel or your favourite spreadsheet.

When you first run Payroll it will give you a choice of Epson, HP Deskjet or HP laserjet compatible printers.

Payroll is a DOS program, it requires no fancy computer hardware, it does not require Windows. Even with a large workforce it does not require more than a couple of megabytes of your harddisk!

A Trial version is available This trial version is only limited in that the first and last paydates may not be more than 90 days apart. There are already four trial employees and some sample pay transactions so you can evaluate and test the program as much as you like prior to entering your own details. When you are ready to put your details simply run an end-of-year.
